Art & Spanish Class Collaborative project
Project Objective:
Students will:
*research traditional Hispanic dances and the music and songs associated with them
*choose one particular type of dance/music to thoroughly research in order to gain deep and meaningful understanding of all the
components that make up the history and sounds encapsulated within their notes
*create an abstract design using lines, colors, and shapes based on their chosen and researched traditional Hispanic dance,
music, and song.
*turn their abstract song design into a 3-D abstract sculpture that represents their researched traditional Hispanic dance, music,
and song visually.
